Families and authorized adults can help the ministry through approved service opportunities.
Approval follows the responsibility
- Coaches and adult leaders: complete the required annual background check before service. Leaders working with minors also need child-protection onboarding.
- Bookkeeping: the Treasurer authorizes specific duties and any access to financial records.
- Concessions: serve under the supervisor designated by the Athletic Director or Board and follow cash-handling and food-safety procedures.
- Other service: the responsible leader confirms duties, supervision, and any additional requirements.
Family Participation Credit
Only authorized, documented service and qualifying fundraising or sponsorship activity earn credit under Handbook 3.3. Expressing interest is not an assignment or credit approval. Ask leadership to confirm the process before beginning.
Continue using the authorized Band volunteer process. Leadership confirms assignments and requirements before service begins.
